Some of you might find this useful.  I had to buy a new sound generator, as one of mine  broke.  My audiologist told me that the general hearing tranquil sound generators have dropped in price by close to half- to $1600 a pair, rather than $3000.

So if you are thinking of trying it (I recommend this) this is something to consider.

Thanks for this.  I am scheduled to see an audiologist and will consider getting sound generators.  Do you know which model dropped in price?

They are the General Hearing Tranquil 2 ones, actually.

They can switch between white and pink noise.

They sound different than the tranquil 1 generators.
