Anyone who has H because of noise exposure ever get back to seeing live music, with protection, without having setbacks or terrible worsening of H?

I have experience with this. Long story short: forget about concerts clubs live music etc if you want to live normaly without setbacks, worsening and having bad h. If you continue with this, it is possible to end like i did. Now i dont have life at all. All because of bad h. I was once good with h, but not for long time. Reason is my stupidity. Hope you understand me.

Don't do it. It's very dangerous even with protection, makes everything worse. Be glad that you can do every day things.

Well, I can say you sure should avoid bagpipes!  That's what gave me my initial serious relapse after I was 97% better.
