Hello, Dan
I have a few questions. Can you do harm To your ears playing the pink noise too loud? Does the Beltone app pink noise have the same affect as the cd that you recommend? Is it ok to listen longer than 8 hours with Widex sound generator ear inserts?
Is it better to listen to chimes/bells rather than pink noise?
Thanks!

Don't play anything "too loud."  If the sound is annoying you, it is not good therapy, turn the volume down until it is no longer annoying.  You can gradually turn it up as your ears improve.

Loud is a relative thing.  However, you should not play pink noise that you yourself consider loud.  I am not familiar with the Beltone app for pink noise but it is likely different than what is offered through the network.  It is definitely okay to listen to broadband sound longer than 8 hours however I am not familiar with the 'Widex' brand.  Typically individuals suffering from hyperacusis do not like chimes and bells since they tend to ring in the high frequencies.
