Dear Hyperacusis Network team,

I have seen an ENT and Neurotology ear surgeon on Harley St, London and I have palatal Myoclonus but sadly i didn't have the symptons that day for the specialist do diagnose me with inner ear myoclonus!! I have had this and it is affecting my life.

I was wondering if you can relate to me. I have myoclonus of the tensor tympani do you have this fluttering sound in your ear? I have been diagnosed with Palatal Myoclonus bust sadly the specialist couldn't diagnose me with inner ear myoclonus as I didn't show any symptoms that day. I have been on anti-depressants, st Johns wort, clonazepam, Chinese herbs, acupuncture, relaxation, meditation and even been to see a clinical psychologist and ENT and nothing has worked. The result is money spent but nothing done! What do you do when you get these symptoms if you do? Now I am now on Magnesium citrate 2tabs per day!

This is not doing my depression any good, how are you copping?

I just want to stab my ear with a knife!!
So do you know if a botox injection into the throat eases my middle ear myoclonus?

Well I have a stinking cold, Hope you are well.
Sean
