Hi, Has anyone had a problem with TV presenters either raising the volumn or tone of what they are saying?, despite the sound setting on TV turned down low'

This is a common problem for individuals experiencing hyperacusis.  It could also be recruitment which is common as we grow older.  Meet with a qualified clinician (ENT/audiologist) to have your ears tests.  To learn more visit this link:

Thank you Dan for your reply, I have been through the "hoops" in appointments for H, Tinnitus, Hearing Loss and Meniere's to no avail, unfortunately, but it strikes me as strange that having the volumn set low enough not to cause distress, that a persons raised voice triggers H. When it didn't a second before
