I'm thinking of starting a support group in my area (Lansing, MI), for people like me who really struggle with noise/crave peace and quiet.

I don't know as I want to throw a 'misophonia'/hyperacusis' name in the title

Can you think of other possible titles for the group?

QUESTING FOR QUIET maybe?  QUIET QUESTERS

I could post it on Craigslist and create a new group on meetup.com, and put it in community groups notices sections of local papers.

I'd want part of it to be like a support group - a place to share our struggles, and things we've found help.  Also, ideally, we'd be finding others who enjoy quietness and perhaps we could go on group outings that would be quieter than a 'normal' group.

And we could have discussions about Susan Cain's QUIET book.

Would appreciate hearing from any of you suggestions for how to start this and make it a success.

I live in that solitude which is painful in youth
but delicious in the years of maturity.
