The following 25 questions are about things we see every day or have known about all our lives.  How many can you get right?  These simple questions are harder than you thing.  It just shows you how little we pay attention to the commonplace things of life.  Put your thinking caps on.  No cheating!  No getting out of your chair!  No using anything on on in your desk or computer!  The average person only gets 7 right.  This is based on U.S. info, so we use all lobes of your brain.  The can be more difficult than it looks - it just shows you how little most of us really see!

Note: Although the background sound is soothing, you have the option at the beginning of the test to turn it off.  Good luck!

Dan,

This certainly can be more difficult than it looks. Amazing that the average person even gets 7 questions right since I don't see any questions at all!  ....just a solid colored square.  I thought maybe it was the browser I was using so I checked it out on 3 others, and I've yet to find those questions!

Hi Darcy, ((( Smiles )))

Yes.. The power of observation..
Though I'm not good at quiz's so I don't know if I'll announce my score..
But haven't taken it yet..
Just listened to the catchy tune and saw the starting page..
It look's like it will take some time..
So.. First I'll eat.. Then get routed in my chair..
Then I'll see whats beyond..
Maybe I'll wait till my child gets home from summer school..
Then she can help me... Ha !
Works for me...

Dan, Lynn -

Maybe it's only designed to work with PC's (I use a Mac).  This is all I get -- a colored sqare with music playing that goes on and on and on.  And yip, I tried clicking on the square and nothing happens.  It just sits there.

I got fourteen right.  Second-guessed myself several times or it would have
been higher.

This was fun.  Thanks, Dan.

I have found that the link only works with the Internet Explorer web browser.  Mozilla Firefox browser only shows a green box.

Dan,

Thanks for the clarification.

Internet Explorer for the Mac is an antiquated browser.  They stopped upgrading it in 2003.  I will be visiting my sister this evening.  She has a PC.  Perhaps we can open the file on her computer.
