I don't have Hyperacusis but saw the 20/20 special and had an idea of creating a Mobile App that could essentially filter Audio like is done in Music (AMP's that Clip before blowing) and reduce Frequency Amplitude. I do this type of Programming so was thinking if you married an Ordinary Hearing Aid with a Ear Plug (With small Speaker inside) wireless to Mobile App do you think this could work as your protective device so you could go outside.

If enough folks show interest in this type of thing I am looking into it and potential support from Microsoft.

Can I get some feedback on Designs or options or opinion if it would work at all?

Thank You
