The letters of each word in the left-hand column can be rearranged and then placed in front of a word in the right-hand column to form a new word.  For example, if ARC appeared in the first column and PET in the second, they could be matched to form the word CARPET. (perhaps  to allow others to participate, work 3 per person ? until tomorrow.)

Hi, Darcy.  You beat me to it.

No wonder i was having problems.  Misreading my scribbles i thought
that the remaining pair was "WARE" and "GRAM."  And despite my
best attempts i was stumped. . . naturally.

Hollis,

I know what you mean.  I often can't read what I write.  I usually work out these word puzzles using scrabble pieces or by typing them into my computer and playing around with them there.

I am really having a doozy of a time with today's post by Denis.  I'll have to see if somebody got this thing running.  I had my pad out, and drew a complete BLANK!   Ha! Ha!
                                Thanks everyone. God Bless you!
