Hi. I was recently diagnosed with hyperacusis by my audiologist.

I'm trying to find ringtones and notification tones that are lower pitched and brief, so that I can use my phone with less annoyance.

Anyone have a good resource for low-pitched ringtones/notification tones?

For ANDROID users, I found this app. It isn't free, but it does have good quality ringtones and notification tones. I just purchased it.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rcp.complete

The hard part is going through the tones and listening to figure out what might work and what is painful/uncomfortable. Some are labeled "Lo" which means lower pitched. If you have extreme hyperacusis, you may not even want to try this. For those who don't feel like they will experience a setback, it may be helpful to find ringtones that aren't triggering to your fight-flight responses or pain.

I don't have a iPhone, so I haven't looked at apps for that.
Good luck to everyone else on the hunt for more friendly ringtones!
