Has anyone used vinpocetine for tinnitus and/or hyperacusis?  Any results?

Hi Aplomado,
I have not tried vinpocetine but now I am curious too.
There is a problem that arises for me that I would think others might encounter too. I have allergies that have a major impact on my head/resp system, and when they are bad they also seem to make my hyperacusis hearing distortions worse for a time. Things that help me with allergies tend to be vasoconstrictors like decongestants. A large number of other things, and I think vinpocetine, and ginkgo would be included, act as vasodilators, and are supposed to feed our brains, but for me they often make sinus headaches and allergy symptoms worse.
Sorry this is not an answer to your question, but just a random observation. I will await other responses about things people have tried.

Hello!
I tried vinpocetine for over a month and got no results. This was about a year ago.
Good luck!
