Dear all
I am new to this network, and I am wondering if there is anyone out there who is experiencing the same sensations as I am, which is an acute hyperacusis and electro magnetic sensitivity. This means that I cannot listen to any kind of electronic sound, and it is extremely uncomfortable just being in a quiet room.  It feels like my nervous system is raw, and picking up and magnifying environmental sounds during the day so that by the evening it is pretty much deafening.  Is this a common condition?  My doctors and therapists seem baffled!

Hi Yes you are not alone in experiencing the electromagnetic sensitivity. I have had that for years, after working several years in a smoke filled office. I also have many allergies, and hyperacusis, and have developed a couple other things now that I'm older.
Anyway, I dont' watch TV, listen to radio or music or use new phones [ only use old land lines }
I spend a lot of time reading, had to quit work at age 52, with a reduced medical retirement pension.
I've adjusted to my life but wish there was more research into these auto immune diseases.
Hope you can find some way to cope with this, or get help........ Take care,    Donna

Thanks Donna.
I discovered Joey Remeni and her Rock Steady programme and FB group. I am convinced that this condition can be relieved, I do believe there is hope as others have experienced a letting go of it. Good luck, Angela
