Does anybody have a pulse of strong pressure when swallowing that causes hyperacusis and tinnitus?I have been struggling with this for about two years and two ENTs are not sure of  diagnosis and have offered no treatment plan.Thanks,

David--Perhaps you could exlain some more about your experience. Are you saying that swallowing triggers an episode of H and T? That would be unusual, I think. In my case I know that aural pressure often accompanies an increase in H sensitivity, but I'm not sure if there is a causal relationship. They just seem to go together.

The swallowing causes a strong pulse of pressure in the ear which over time causes tinnitus and HA.
