I have a friend with hyperacusis whose answering machine stopped working properly and she needs a new one. The only ones she can find make loud beeping sounds that are too loud for her. Anyone know of an answering machine that operates without making loud sounds?

Thanks,
Marv

Nasty and often pointless high frequency beeping buttons seem to be built into every appliance on earth now.  There is a consumer products thread that may be of help here on this Board (if you haven't already found it).
