Okay I know there are a number of Klonopin users on the board.  I am one of them.

I am fiinding my tolerance level to Klonpin is increasing.  Two miligrams a day does not seem to be sufficient for me any longer.  My physician is resistant to increasing he dosage, which I understand since benzos are menat for short-term use only.

So would anyone care to share their experiences with Klonopin.  What dose do you take?  Is it steady or as needed?  Do you use it long-term?  Who prescribes it?  Is your tolerance increasing?  Etc.

Thanks.

Just started taking Klonopin prescribed .05 mgs at bedtime.
For the most part, I've been taking half of this dose.  So far, I take as
needed maybe every other night.  It does help with sleeping but I still have the ear spasms/myoclonus.  My neurologist prescribed.

When you say .05 mgs I assume you mean .5 mg, so if you are taking half that dose that means 1/4 mg.  Wow!  That would do nothing for me.  I've taken as much as 3.5 mg at a time, which really wipes me out the next day (per my doctor Klonopin is long-acting).  I'm trying to cut down on my use but it's the only thing that has ever worked on my pain.  I know it's not a viable long-term solution though.

Anyone else on Klonopin?
