How many of you also suffers from tinnitus?.

I got tinnitus after an rockconsert and with it came the hyperacusis/phonobia.

I have t in both ears and after 3,5 y its still changing, i dont know from an day to an other how its gonna sound. Its several different sonds thats in all my head 24/7...

Im very stressed out because of this.

Now i think i had got TTS & Myoclonus because the soundsensivity is very bad. I dont know why i got this syndrome but i had an earinfection last fall that i didnt took care of in time.

I experinece fullness, pain and cramps in my ears and i i often feel hearing loss. The ears are "playning tricks" on me everyday now and i feel so alone and afraid. Cause every Doctor i met treats me like i´m an idiot. I´m not but, but will soon be crazy if my ears are going to continue running my life this way.

All though i´m very glad i found this page.

I suffer from severe tinnitus and hyperacusis since July 2002 after an rockconcert.
In october 2005 i got an otitis in both ears & more trouble came after this. I get no answers from the ENT doctors so i had too search the web for my own diagnose.
I believe that i also have the Tensor tympani Syndrome, myoclonus & Eustachian Tube Dysf.

Hi  Kat,

No your not alone out there.

I've been dealing with H for over 20 years now and in the last year or so developed T.

I must say this board has helped me allot, not only as friends that understand,,but they have helped me regain the courage, knowledge and stamina needed to keep going and to deal with the growing concern of uneducated doctors.

Hang in there, you seem strong and knowledgeable, we'll help you through and give you as much advice and guidance possible.

We have very knowledgeable people here on the Board.  Just ask away and don't worry if you need a shoulder every now and again to cry on,  we all do every once in a while.

We Care and your part of a unique family here.

Take Care,

Mark
