Hi,

I used to sleep with the window open and that was my way of making sure i got sound exposure during sleep (enough environmental noise in my area). Now I don't do that anymore i was wondering what other use to make sure there is still soundenrichment happening as they sleep. Sound system recommendations, useful tips, ... Open to anything!

Hi there,

I use various apps on my iPad to listen to while sleeping. I make sure the sounds are gentle and soothing and not distracting or uncomfortable. They serve to provide sound enrichment and also help mask annoying outdoor noises. I am looking into getting a sound oasis unit for higher quality sound, but the iPad seems to work without consequence.

The main app I use is free and is called naturespace. There’s also a good one called simply rain (might cost a few bucks).

My experience is that my ears need to relax as much as possible, so i don't do any sound therapy at night. In the morning my T is much less bothersome. It builds up to the evening. I don't use plugs to go out and do 'normal' stuff. Only when i have to drive for longer periods on the highway i put in earbuds.
