This interesting piece ran in the paper last week, about the NIH's new Undiagnosed Diseases program.

I wonder if there are some people here -- the ones with no apparent cause for their ear problems -- who could apply to the program.

I lived in the same town as that girl for some time apparently.
Aye, reminders to be grateful for sure, but  being on the brink and knowing/seeing what is possible (so much) and what is lacking (depends on how you look at it) has it's torture as well eh.
